If you dream of turning your love and passion for travel into a moneymaking online business, or if you are already in full-on Digital Nomad mode, a paid course or community can send you soaring into big-time travel blog success.

But wait.

Why spend money on a travel blogging course when you can learn so much for free online?

Simply put, the most compelling reason to purchase a quality course is to invest in your blog and yourself.

Plus, think about it. If you spend your hard-earned cash on an online course, you commit, and if you don’t complete the course, you lose your money.

And one more thing.

A paid course will provide you the information you need concisely and systematically. Plus, in a community, you have access to the instructor AND other travel bloggers for support and accountability.

There are so many fantastic travel blogging courses out there to teach you how to start a blog, monetize your blog, understand and implement SEO, nurture your email list, create pins, bring traffic to your blog, and thrive on social media.

Very few of them DO IT ALL like Travel Blog Prosperity, a nurturing membership community that includes everything you need to turn your blog into a profitable business, from courses to live coaching to paid opportunities sent to your inbox and more.

**I am an affiliate of Travel Blog Prosperity by Jessie Festa from Jessie On a Journey and Epicure and Culture. If you decide to enroll in her course, I get paid a commission. But, if that were not the case, I would still be one of her biggest cheerleaders.**

Jessie’s mission in the Travel Blog Prosperity Community is to provide you with the knowledge and tools to become a successful travel blogger with a generous cash flow.

But that’s just one side of the story.

Jessie also wants to see you cut down on tasks that are taking up time and getting you nowhere, and focus on tasks that will lead to conversions.

You know that neverending to-do list? Especially the obsessive mess of a list created when just starting as a new blogger? Yep, THAT ONE. Well, THAT ONE needs control. I know this, I have been there.

Jessie’s goal in Travel Blog Prosperity is to help you decide what to cut to gain control, help you move forward, and make a profit.

So, what happens when you join Travel Blog Prosperity?

Good question.

For the first month, which is $9 with the coupon code TRYITFOR9, you have access to all of the course collections and the private Facebook group. You have an opportunity a couple of times a week to join a live call for Q & A with Jessie and other Travel Blog Prosperity members.

The cost to continue is $49 per month. But, if you know you are in and want to save $200 a year, then $388 for a yearly membership.

Once you enroll in the community, you have immediate access to all of this great stuff, all in one place.

  • 15-minute onboarding call. We’ll chat one-on-one to create a personalized plan for how you can best utilize the program content.
  • A new member checklist (I love checklists). This checklist will help you get acquainted with and maximize the membership.
  • 45+ premium blogging courses. Learn how to grow an email list, create a profitable content plan, launch products, grow on social media, set up your blog legally, and much more.
  • 10+ workshops. These video workshops teach everything from how to grow on YouTube to how to increase traffic by creating website hub pages and more.
  • Strategy roadmap. All courses and workshops are sorted on a clickable roadmap that breaks up the blogging journey into phases — like branding, traffic, and monetization — so you can easily find training to help you meet your current goals.
  • 1 monthly goal-setting workshop. We’ll meet in a small group on Zoom to create your action plan for the month — implementation workbook included!
  • 2 monthly live Q&A calls. Come get questions answered, share strategies, and mingle with other members on Zoom.
  • Access to the private Facebook Group. You will have opportunities for feedback and collaborations and ask any questions you may have about travel blogging.
  • Monthly newsletters. Her newsletters are packed full of quick tips, opportunities, and reminders of what is coming up next.
  • Quarterly live calls & events. These rotate between a live Q&A call with a developer, a live site audit call where you can get your site constructively critiqued, and a live creative writing workshop led by a professional storyteller.
  • 5 weekly paid blogger opportunities. These are sent to your inbox every Monday and include things like press trips, paid writing gigs, lucrative affiliate programs, brand campaigns, and more.
  • Course bonuses. There is over $2k in course bonus material, from brand pitch templates to email writing prompts to engaging Instagram Story templates.
  • And more! 🙂 So much more.

When you join Travel Blog Prosperity, there are many topics in the course collections to choose from; this can be somewhat overwhelming. But, Jessie has broken them down into phases and further separated into months, depending on your stage in the game.

For example, if your website is brand new, you can start from scratch, Month Zero. But, if you are further into your journey, you may wish to begin in Month 15 for The Great 31 Day Link Building Challenge, or Month 22, How to Successfully Create a Podcast.

Here are just a few exciting things that I learned in my first month with Jessie in The Travel Blog Prosperity Community.

  • New (to me) blogging terms. Such as “SSL certificate,” do you know what that is? Well, you need one.
  • How to use Google Search Console to find ideas for old posts to revamp and rank higher.
  • A deeper dive into Google Analytics to see where my traffic comes from and devote more of my efforts and time to these areas.
  • Simplified SEO (Search Engine Optimization), including techniques for improvement.
  • Use of keyword research tools to optimize SEO from the start and an introduction to my new favorite tool.
  • A tutorial on RelayThat, which looks like a Pinterest game changer.
  • Places to find ideas for posts (that aren’t Google and Pinterest).
  • And…some new affiliate marketing opportunities to add to my list.

What happens each month in The Travel Blog Prosperity Community?

As if all of the above is not enough, this is what happens at the beginning of each month.

A new course collection is released.

A course collection is a mini-course that includes a how-to guide, video training, a printable workbook, and a checklist (my fav).

This month’s course collection is all about the steps to take to get accepted to Mediavine. Past months have included crafting a successful social media schedule (working on it now), blazing productivity without burnout, blogging legally, and creating images with your smartphone.

The interactive teaching routine goes like this:

  • Watch the video, plus read the module online.
  • Print the PDF form of the workbook provided. I am old school; I love holding something and reading it, marking it up with my favorite pen, and highlighting all the top tips.
  • Pause and reflect: “These are meant to allow you to take a break from *ingesting* the content, and pause to *digest* it.”

**Ninja tip: Grab a hole punch and a notebook for all of the workbooks and checklists, and keep it all tidy in one place.

Jessie provides multiple examples of what she is teaching put into practice. So you learn the topic, watch it put into practice, write down your thoughts and plans, put it into practice yourself, and feel accomplished.

The interactive format allows you to ask questions, make comments, and request feedback on your ideas directly in the course.

And at the time of this review, you will have access to 45 months’ worth of course collections for an entire month for just $9, with the code: TRYITFOR9.

But, I assure you, you will want more.

“If you really want to turn your blog into a reliable source of income, you’ll need to be more strategic than simply writing about your trips and hitting publish.”

So far this month (two weeks in), these are the things that I have accomplished after major comprehensive brainstorming on my purpose as a travel blogger?

  • Tweaked my “about me” page based on what I brainstormed in the Mindset Module (Month Zero) and Branding Your Blog For Success (Month One).
  • I have a more specific mission: I help moms learn to plan travel with confidence by providing travel planning resources and tips, health and wellness guides, and lots of helpful checklists. Check it out in my sidebar. What do you think?
  • I have a tagline now. OK, it’s a work in progress, but I never had a tagline. It’s Wander Well. Do you like it?
  • I’ve learned a new method to perform keyword research with my new favorite tool. I now have a long list of ideas for future blog posts. AND I have already revamped a couple of old ones for SEO.
  • Joined a couple of Travel-specific Facebook groups, including one for collaborations.

If you have no clear purpose except writing about your travels and pushing “Publish,” let’s fix that.

Are you moving from task to task to task, spinning the wheels of overwhelm, forever typing with little structure, let’s move on.

If you have no clue who may want to read your good stuff, let’s figure that out.

And, if you have a travel blog as a hobby that does not make money but think you wanna cash in, let’s do it.
